How it works

Black Owned Business Funding

The Black Owned Business Funding Network

In conjunction with various other private organizations, Atlcustoms has created a platform to help fund, support and fuel resources into black owned businesses, ventures, entrepreneurs, organizations, community projects and more. This is all accomplished through a network of black business owners, developers, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, angel investors, investors, and those wanting to donate to the growth and development of black owned business.

If you are a black owned business, organization or entrepreneur and are in need of assistance financially to build, promote, or develop your business: register yourself and business on the Black Owned Business Funding Network and create a crowdfunding campaign for your business or venture.  When adding your campaign please be sure to be as descriptive as possible regarding your venture, the services or projects your are looking to provide, and how financial assistance will be able to take your venture to the next level.  Once your campaign is approved you can begin marketing your campaign.  Donors from all over the world can securely donate using any major credit or debit card. every donation you receive is yours to keep (minus a 5-8%  network and processing fee), whether or not you reach your entire goal.

Fees

The Black Owned Business Funding network was purposely created with the intent to allow black business owners, developers, entrepreneurs, and organizations to sign-up and launch a campaign that helps fund and fuel resources into their ventures  through a network of venture capitalists, angel investors, investors, and those wanting to donate to the growth and development of black owned businesses. While it does not cost  launch your campaign, the Black Owned Business Funding network charges a 5-8% from each donation.  This fee is charged to cover network operating expenses such as: payment processing costs, hosting fees, network development web and app development, marketing and advertising of the network etc.

A lot of time and work went into the development of this platform as well as it's continued development as it continues to grow, this small fee goes towards that work and development as well.

If the Misuse arose from a failed delivery of funds to the Intended Beneficiary, we may also redirect your donation to the Intended Beneficiary.

Why This is Important

One of the main pit-fall experienced by black owned businesses and their owners is the lack of financing.  Whether it be because of their inability to qualify for loans and grants, or fierce competition that causes drastic reduction in prices leading minimal to no profits for their business or its development.  Many experience struggle and hardships when venturing into business and entrepreneurship. Days of being hungry but only having $20. Having to choose between eating or using their last $20 to purchase advertising or product to hopefully come out with something to eat by the end of the day. There are days where there is profit, and there are days where there is no profit, which means money is lost after the time and resources put into a full day of work. I've witnessed some come down so far in the value of their products or services because they literally had nothing in their pocket, and being able to make something to feed themselves or their families was all that mattered at that point.

Few persist through the hardships. They give up on their dreams, visions and aspirations and when they die their dreams end up in the graveyard with them. Many of them fight through the struggle and opposition they face in order to develop into the businesses and brands they want to become.  They embrace the struggle knowing that although "the struggle is real" so is the dream, and with the right time, resources and dedication these dreams can become a reality.

Being a company built and established on a vision brought to life, and the belief that most dreams end up in the graveyard. It is our mission to prevent the dreams and visions of countless others ending up there.  For some of these businesses or entrepreneurs just an extra $50 would buy business cards, or ink for their printers and greatly increase their ability to market and/or produce products and services that will bring customer growth and profit. If this can accomplished with a simple $50 investment or donation into their venture, imagine what $1000 or $2500 could do!
